TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Meghan Leah ("Website"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Website and any services provided by Meghan Leah Waals ("Freelancer," "I," "me," or "my"). By accessing or using this Website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. SERVICES

I provide freelance services, including but not limited to:

  • Technical writing and copywriting

  • Graphic and website design

  • Marketing and branding collateral

  • Digital presentations and pitch decks

  • Print and digital asset design

All services will be provided based on individual agreements between the Freelancer and the client.

2. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Payment terms will be outlined in a project proposal or invoice before work begins.

  • A deposit may be required before the start of any project.

  • Full payment is due upon project completion, unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees.

  • Work will not be delivered until the final payment is received.
     

3. REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

  • Due to the nature of freelance services, refunds will not be issued for completed work.

  • If a project is canceled before completion, a cancellation fee may apply based on the work completed up to that point.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
     

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All content, designs, and written materials created remain the property of the Freelancer until full payment is received.

  • Upon full payment, the client is granted a license to use the final deliverables for agreed-upon purposes.

  • The Freelancer retains the right to use completed work for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed.
     

5. REVISIONS & EDITS

  • A set number of revisions will be included as specified in the project proposal.

  • Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra fees.

  • Revision requests must be submitted within the specified timeframe after project delivery.
     

6. CONFIDENTIALITY

  • Any confidential information shared between the client and the Freelancer will remain private and will not be disclosed to third parties.

  • Both parties agree to keep project details confidential unless agreed otherwise.
     

7. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

  • The Freelancer is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of delivered work.

  • The client is responsible for reviewing and approving all work before publication or distribution.

  • The Freelancer does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from the services provided.
     

8. TERMINATION

  • Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice.

  • Any work completed up to the termination date must be paid for by the client.
     

9. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

  • These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice.

  • Continued use of the Website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
